Hey all,

Sorry, this week has been sparse in updates. I’ve been fighting my own personal demons and this week has just been difficult. I am working on the next part of The Curse of Spring-Heeled Jack, as well as what my focus on here will be.

Cristian Mihai is helping me realize my goal of making this site the best it can be. My thoughts so far are to continue writing my fiction, for that is what my primary goal is: to become a best selling author, however, blogs are a bit of a different beast than posting chapters of a book online.

Right now, I am unemployed. I have applied for jobs, but hearing back from them takes time, so I am doing my best to use my time wisely and produce great work.┬áThat being said, I don’t think I’ve been giving my best. I feel like I was posting just to post. I feel a lot of my work was rushed just so I could meet deadlines. Therefore I am going to change my schedule.

My thoughts are as follows:

Monster Monday: I want to continue to post on cryptids because my upcoming book is based on cryptids and paranormal events.

Writing Wednesday: I want to start sharing my process when it comes to writing. I have a degree in writing, and I have been writing for a long time. I’d love to share some of my tips, as well as push new writers with their work.

Fictioneer Friday: I will keep posting fiction, but I would like to invite every writer who follows me to write with me. I used to do this with another site; I can’t for the life of me remember where this was on the internet, but I figure I can start it up here. The plan is to post a picture, and then write a short story about it. Maybe I would post writing prompts as well. The idea would be to post these and read each other’s stories. I think it would be fun; I enjoyed it when I did it before.

I was trying to post three times a week on my budding Youtube channel, and I still want to post there, but I will be restricting it to Saturdays so I can let my stories write themselves in my subconscious before I rush through them.

I am a firm believer in deadlines, otherwise nothing gets done, however I’ve been stressing myself out a lot this week alone trying to meet them.

There are other things I would like to try. Perhaps guest posts so that we as a community can help each other in getting our work read?

I would like to open this up to those who read and enjoy my work: what would you like me to post?
